On behalf of the Board of Management, I welcome you to the North East Regional Health Authority’s (NERHA) website. Our mission is providing health care to approximately 356,000 people in the parishes of Portland, St. Mary and St. Ann.   New programmes  are developed constantly, which  reflects the needs of our communities and we are committed to the delivery of a   high quality of service, safety, reliability, consistency and accessibility to all who seek health care at our facilities throughout the Region.

These services are provided by health care providers and support staff in four hospitals and seventy one health centres. NERHA will continue to strengthen the foundation, increase the depth and width of expertise and competencies, as we pursue our vision of providing world class health care.  The real challenge for all of us health care providers , is a shift in our mindset. The goals we seek to achieve demands focus, an inquiring mind, innovation and determination.
