TIPS FOR YOUR VISIT

• If you visit our Outpatients or Accident & Emergency Departments, you will be scanned by security personnel with a metal detector for offensive weapons (knives, firearms, etc.).

You will not be allowed to enter if you are carrying offensive weapons.  The security guard will seize any such weapon (EXCEPT FIREARMS), which will be tagged and locked away. When you are ready to leave, it will be returned to you.

• Firearms will not be seized by the security guard. Please leave your weapon at the nearest police station.
• If you visit the Accident & Emergency Department, you will be asked to surrender your cellular phone to the security guard. You will be given a ticket which you must present to the guard to retrieve your phone upon leaving the building.
• Please observe our “Authorized Personnel Only”, “Staff Only” and “No Smoking” signs.
• Please observe our “No Parking” signs. Do not block emergency vehicles or entrances to buildings.
• Do not toot your horn or play loud music on the property. Remember, the Hospital is a Silent Zone.
