The North East Regional Health Authority (NERHA), a statutory body under the Ministry of Health with responsibility for the management and delivery of health care and public health services within the parishes of St. Ann, St. Mary and Portland is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons to immediately fill existing vacancies for Registered Nurse/Midwives throughout the Region.

The ideal candidate will meet the following minimum qualifications:

·    Registered Nursing Certificate

·    Midwifery training at a recognized institution

·     Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Specialist Nurse.  

REQUIREMENTS:

·     Be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written English.  

·     Registered with the Nursing Council.  

·     Be prepared to reside in the Region (St. Ann, St. Mary or Portland).  

·     Ability to work under extreme pressure.  

·     Must be able to work odd hours.
